The goal of the game is not to make 4, 5 or 6 words in 4, 5 or 6 moves but to make at least 200, 600 or 1000 pts depending on the bet. There is a letter worth 20 pts out of the 7 proposed. You can very well make a 6 letter word without this 20 pts letter which will bring you less than a 4 or 5 letter word with this one. Not to mention the bonuses that you must use above all to up for grabs ! your bet.

It's very simple. You actually have 60 minutes from the time you start your Round (free or paid) until you leave it.
On the other hand, at the beginning of the game, when you click on Play, when the "curtain opens" and the 7 letters appear, you only have 20 seconds to think and choose among the 3 bets (i.e. with the 7 letters proposed, if you plan to make 1000 pts in 4 words, 600 pts in 5 words or 200 pts in 6 words). Then you can take your time to Play your Round, compose your words according to the points of each letter, the bonuses...

I don't understand your disappointment, the new parimots are more attractive than the Previous one, and there are at least vowels I often bet on the 1000, because if you put the paying words, you have a bonus with a word to find in addition, I almost always succeed every time I make my bets, you just have to have a good strategy, I just lost a little at the beginning but playing we quickly understand how to get a lot of points, I have much more often 150 points at the end than with the old version, and the letters are more interesting. I do not agree when some people say that the 20 is often on K or J, it is much more often on a T or D or R, so again, we have to make a distinction and give good statistics. Personally, I hope this version will last.
Just like the new version of word pyramids, finally I get to 150 points very often, the old version was much less easy for my taste.
On the other hand I still haven't understood how to get to 150 points, the maximum, in "bonus words", the rules of the games are really not explicit ^^
It is obvious that this new version aims to limit the number of points earned!
- the value given to the letters, the "20" is often put on a "J", a "K", etc.... which often makes it difficult or even impossible to create a word of more than 3 letters! or forces all the variations of a single word (without real interest) result, either we lose the bet (5 points collected) or we win it by a small amount (about ten points collected!)
- the joker is often awarded in the last draw while the letters in progress do not allow to make words that pay...
- if the joker is used twice in the same place, the 2nd word is simply refused "you have already validated this word" when it is different! ex: ra(t)iers, ra(v)iers, ra(m)iers... it limits the consecutive words of 7 letters, whereas the possibilities to make them are already extremely rare in the Rounds!
Since this version is imposed on us, would it at least be possible to take our comments into account and remove some of the obstacles to the game, make it less directive and a little more profitable? 😠

Nor do I take the option of 1000 points in 3 words. Even with a very good draw, it is enough if we are not given an interesting bonus not to make the required score. To say that it's taking a lot of risk for not much. With a very good draw, we will be limited to 150 anyway and taking an extra risk is useless.
If you have read the rules, you will quickly understand that this game is also a numbers game. You have to calculate the word score to achieve the 250 points in a maximum of two moves and then quickly get a bonus and use the best words with the best bonuses.
Of course, there is also (and surtout ?) the luck factor. Even the best day in the world won't do much with "YZWXPRU", for example.
Hello, I was also very disappointed at the beginning of this new version. Then I read the rules of the game and understood some things like the white letter and the m2 and m5 that multiply the points. What I don't understand is how the first ones get to such a high total of points... I've never taken the option of 1000 points in 3 words...
