Actually it's simple, if it says you need 5 minutes to validate your game, it means you must have finished your game and convert your points to a madpoint before those 5 minutes! if you exceed the time limit you will get an error (I think it's error 24: time limit exceeded) and no madpoint to win.

Usually this time is more than enough to finish the game but sometimes it's limited. For example 2 minutes for Caster X-Trem is not much....

I think the duration of the game is limited. between the PLAY and CONTINUE clicks to turn the score into madpoints we have ,xxx minutes. the site may be overloaded if a started game is not finished. the phone, the postman, a visit and the game is abandoned and then resumed too long afterwards. I don't think this has any impact on uncredited madpoints.
